Yakama Forest Products requires a pre-employment drug screening for all positions and the minimum age to work is 18 years of age.

Applications are always accepted at YFP and will remain on file for six months.  It is the responsibility of the applicant to update their application as necessary. Please make sure to keep your contact number up to date, if your phone number changes please call the sawmill office to have your application updated.

Applications can be picked up and dropped off at the large sawmill office between 8am-5pm. Applications are available at the Yakama Nation Agency Human Resources office. Application will need to be turned in at the large sawmill office

Identify Internal/External Customers: Board of Directors, Tribal Council, department managers, department supervisors, office support staff, and public.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinates and directs the activities of all departments at Yakama Forest Products, including Sawmill Manufacturing; Sales and Marketing of lumber, logs and biproducts; Finance and Accounting, Forestry and Timber; Information Technology; and Human Resource Management.

Performance Expectations:

Responsible for all day-to-day lumber manufacturing operations to produce quality lumber safely and efficiently; maintain and upkeep all Plant assets to YFP standards; enforce the Environment Rules and Regulations of the YN an EPA Region 10.
